The name

“

Scot · Ellas — a fusion of Scotland and Ellas, the ancient name for Greece.

Pronounced skoh · teh · lass

Both nations are part of Evan's heritage, and both share a proud legacy of punching well above their weight in invention and ingenuity. The name is a small tribute to that.

Founder

Evan Santos.

Evan founded ScotEllas to bring his ideas to fruition — a considered portfolio of products, built with care and intention.

He holds a BSc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor's of Education from Concordia University of Edmonton.

Based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada — proudly built here.

Outside of this, he enjoys fishing, guitar, soccer, and chess.
